Learned Additional Government Advocate accepts notice for respondent No.1. 2. Sri. Pawan Kumar, learned counsel accepts notice for respondent Nos.2 and 3. 3. Petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: (a) Issue Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondent 2 and 3 to change the khatha in the name of the petitioner and declare the tax to the property as per the representation dated 13-2-2020 and 1-7-2024 as per Annexure-E and F. (b) Pass such other and further relief which are deems fit and relating to the matter and circumstances of the case in favour of the petitioner. 4. Petitioner claims to have purchased site bearing No.29 in Survey No.120/1, Khata No.478, Assessment No.120/1 - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:7819 WP No. 994 of 2026 situated Harohalli Village, Yeshwanthpura Hobli-2, Bengaluru North Taluk under a registered sale deed dated 05.09.2002. The petitioner thereafter had made an application for transfer of Khata, which was not acted upon and subsequently, has followed up with representations on 13.02.2020 and 01.07.2024 which also have not been acted upon and it is in that background that the petitioner is before this Court seeking for the aforesaid reliefs. 5. An application for transfer of khata is now being required to be made in an online manner, accompanied by necessary documents. Hence, I am of the considered opinion that no direction could be issued to the respondents to consider an application filed in an offline manner in the year 2002. 6. Reserving liberty to the petitioner to file the necessary application in the online manner accompanied by the necessary documents and directing respondents to consider the said application within a period of 30 days of - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:7819 WP No. 994 of 2026 the filing of the said application, the petition stands disposed of.
