AGP Mr. Anubrata Santra ….. for the State. 1. Affidavit of service filed in Court, is taken on record. 2. Heard the parties through their learned counsels. 3. The petitioner in the instant case prays, inter alia, for the following reliefs: (a) A writ in the nature of Mandamus commanding the respondent authorities including the respondent no.4 to take steps in terms of the resolution dated 29.04.2025 for transferring the permit and the vehicle in the name of the petitioner and his sister; (b) Further writ of Mandamus commanding the respondent authorities to give effect of the resolution dated 29.04.2025 without causing any delay; 2 (c) A writ of Certiorari calling upon the respondents to produce or cause to be produced all records relating to the case of the petitioner before this Honi’ble Court so that conscionable justice may be done by passing appropriate order upon perusal of the same; (d) Rule in terms of prayer (a) to (c); (e) Interim order directing the respondent authorities to take necessary steps to tive effect of resolution dated 29.04.2025 for transferring the permit with the vehicle in the name of the petitioner and his sister without causing delay pending hearing of the matter in the High Court Calcutta;” 4. Main grievance of the petitioner is that despite the decision being taken by the respondent no.3 on 29.04.2025, the respondent no.4 kept the matter pending without implementing the same. 5. In view of the above, this Court directs the respondent no.4 to implement the decision dated 29.04.2025 forthwith within a period of six week from the date of communication of this order and accordingly transfer the permit in accordance with law in favour of the petitioner as directed by the authority concerned. 3 6. This writ petition is disposed of without going into the merits of the case. 7. With the above observations and directions, the writ petition, WPA 29378 of 2025 stands disposed of. 8.
