With the consent of learned counsel appearing for the parties, this case is heard finally. 2. Petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs:- “(i) That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct respondent authorities to consider the claim of the petitioner and to grant sanctioned higher pay scale of pay scale of 15600-93100+6600 w.e.f. 07.03.2013 with arrears along with 18% interest as per sanction order dated 27.11.2024 within stipulated time, in the interest of justice. (ii) Any other relief which may be suitable in the facts and circumstances of the case, may also be granted..” 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits petitioner has completed 25 years of service on the post of Sub Engineer and accordingly, the Municipal Corporation has sanctioned pay scale of Rs.15600-93100 with grade-pay of Rs.6000/- w.e.f. 07.03.2013 but even after order/sanction granted by employer, monetary benefit has not been extended to petitioner. Petitioner has submitted representation before respondent No.4 on 19.05.2025 and 28.07.2025 which is pending consideration and therefore a direction be issued to concerned authority to consider and take decision on representation. 4. Mr. Bharat Sharma, learned counsel appearing for respondent No.4 seeks time to file reply. However, upon asking, he submits that 3 / 3 according to his instructions, claim of petitioner is under consideration and appropriate decision will be taken at the earliest. 5. On due consideration of submission of learned counsel for the parties, nature fo grievance raised in this writ petition and further that initial decision is yet to be taken by respondent No.4/Municipal Corporation, I find it appropriate to dispose of this writ petition at this stage with a direction to respondent No.4 to consider and take decision on representations submitted by petitioner in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a further period of 3 months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 6.
