Despite service of notice, the respondent did not turn up. 2. Heard the arguments of learned counsel for the petitioner. 3. This petition is filed by the wife for transfer of M.C.No.346/2025, filed by the husband for restitution of conjugal rights before the Principal Judge, Family Court, Shivamogga. The petitioner is residing with her parents and a minor child, aged two and a half years, at Mysuru. She has also filed Crl. Misc.No.711/2025 under Section - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:14922 CP No. 12 of 2026 144 of the B.N.S.S. for grant of maintenance. The distance between Mysore and Shivamogga is 250 kilometres. The petitioner is not employed and has no income, and is facing severe health problems. 4. It is stated that the respondent is an agriculturalist, also working in a private company, engaged in real estate business and residing in Shivamogga. As it is inconvenient for the petitioner to travel with the minor child or to leave her with her parents in Shivamogga, this Court finds it reasonable to transfer M.C.No.346/2025 filed by the husband before the Principal Judge, Family Court, Shivamogga to the II Additional Principal Family Judge, Mysuru. 5.
