Initially, the Petitioner was selected as a Secondary Grade Teacher through DSC-2008 and has been discharging his duties ever since. After recovering from the trauma, the Petitioner submitted a representation to the Respondent Authorities to continue him as School Assistant (Mathematics) and stated that the letter of relinquishment was not given out of free will and but on account of emotional duress. As the said representation is not being considered, the present Writ Petition is filed. 4. The learned Assistant Government Pleader submits that the representation of the Petitioner would be examined, an appropriate decision will be taken, and the same will be communicated to the Petitioner. 5. Heard the learned counsel. 6. Considering the submissions made and taking note of the fact that the Petitioner was selected as School Assistant (Mathematics) after a gruelling selection process under the Mega DSC-2025, the Writ Petition is disposed of with the following directions: i) The Respondents are directed to consider the representation of the Petitioner dated 29.04.2026 sympathetically and pass appropriate orders within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order, and communicate the same to the Petitioner. ii) There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. __________________ NYAPATHY VIJAY, J Date: 21.07.2026 eha THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE NYAPATHY VIJAY WP No.19733 of 2026 Date: 21.07.2026 eha U
