Petitioner filed a declaratory suit under Section 229B of Zamindari Abolition and Land Reforms Act, 1950 in the year 2002, which was numbered as Original Suit No. 80 of 2002. 5. By means of this writ petition, petitioners have sought a direction to the court concerned to decide the said suit, which is now numbered as Case No. 07 of 2022-23. 6. It is contended that the suit was earlier decided by the Trial Court on 1.11.2012, however, in a revision filed by a stranger to the suit, Board of Revenue remanded the matter to the Trial Court for decision afresh, vide judgment dated 7.12.2023 and thereafter the matter is pending consideration before the court concerned. 7. Having regard to the facts of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a request to the court concerned to make endeavour to decide the suit filed by petitioners, as early as possible, preferable within one year from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
