The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Chainpur P.S. Case No. 210 of 2024, registered for the offence under Sections 303(2), 317(5), 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, Section 12 of Jharkhand Bovine Animals (Prohibition of Slaughter) Act and Section 11 of Animal Cruelty Act, pending in the court of learned S.D.J.M., Palamau at Daltonganj. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is nothing to do with the allegation of carrying the bovine animals. She next submits that the petitioner has only been made accused in this case on the basis of that earlier one case has been lodged against this petitioner. 4. Learned A.P.P. appearing for the State has opposed the prayer and submits that on the basis of earlier case, the name of the petitioner has been implicated in the present case. 5. Looking into the contents of the FIR, it transpires that the name of the petitioner has only been inserted due to the fact that the [2026:JHHC:10942] -2- name of the petitioner has come in the earlier case, in that view of the matter, the petitioner, named above, is directed to surrender before the learned Court within two weeks from today and the learned Court shall release the petitioner on such terms and conditions or the sureties as the learned Court may deem fit and proper.
