2. Mr. Lalit Sharma, learned Deputy Solicitor General of India with Mr. Manoj Kumar, Central Government Standing Counsel for the Union of India.
3. This contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging willful and deliberate contempt of this Court’s order dated 18.03.2023, passed in WPMS No.792 of 2023, Pradeep Barthwal Vs. Union of India and others, whereby the parties were directed to maintain status quo till the next date of listing.
4. It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that the respondent has issued notices twice to the petitioner to vacate the land in-question.
5. By merely issuing notice will not amount to contempt of this Court’s order dated 18.03.2023. As on today no order has been violated by the respondent by recovery of possession from the petitioner.
6. Accordingly no contempt is made out at this stage.
7. Accordingly contempt petition is hereby closed.
