Chauhan, Advocate for respondent no. 2. 4. According to petitioner, certain persons have encroached upon Government land in front of his house in Village Kishanpur Jamalpur, Tehsil Roorkee, District Haridwar. 5. By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought direction to the concerned authorities to remove illegal encroachment from public road and drainage. He has also sought other reliefs. 6. Learned counsel for petitioner, after arguing for a while submits that petitioner be permitted to represent the matter before the District Magistrate. 7. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of by permitting the petitioner to make representation before the District 2026:UHC:4608 Magistrate. If he makes representation within two weeks, District Magistrate shall have the spot inspected and pass necessary orders, but only after hearing the persons likely to be affected by such order. This Court hopes and expects that this entire exercise shall be completed by the District Magistrate within nine months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
