This is a bail application U/S.483 of BNSS by the petitioner for grant of bail in connection with Kantabanji PS Case No.182 of 2025 corresponding to SC Case No.84 of 2025 pending in the file of learned Additional Sessions Judge, Kantabanji, being charge- sheeted for commission of offences punishable U/Ss.64(2)(m)(f)/296/351(3) of BNS, on the main allegation of committing rape upon the victim. 3. Heard, Mr. Braja Kishor Panda, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. S.C. Pradhan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor in the matter and perused the record together with the evidence of the victim. 4. After having considered the rival submissions and taking into consideration the nature and gravity of the offences as alleged against the petitioner vis-à-vis the allegation sought to be brought against him and on going through the materials placed on record keeping in view the evidence of the victim, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. 5. Hence, the bail application of the petitioner stands rejected. Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
