JUSTICE S.R.KRISHNA KUMAR ORAL ORDER In this petition, petitioner seeks for the following reliefs:- (i) Issue a writ in the nature of certiorari thereby quashing the endorsement dated 13.09.2017 bearing No.BDA/A/U.K-1/C.V./691/2017-18 issued by the Respondent No.1 produced at Annexure-H. (ii) Issue a direction to the Respondent No.1 & 2 so as to accord the appointment on compassionate grounds in accordance with Rule – 6 of the Karnataka Civil Services (Appointment on Compassionate Grounds) Rules, 1996 with retrospective effect from the date when he made the application for appointment. (iii) Issue any order or direction as this Hon’ble Court deems fit in the circumstances of the case and for cost, in the interest of justice and equity.” 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned AGA for the respondents and perused the material on record. 3. It is the grievance of the petitioner that his representations dated 13.12.2006 and 11.04.2008 at Annexures-C - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:22336 WP No. 8229 of 2025 and E respectively submitted to the respondents has not been considered so far by them nor any order has been passed on the same. Under these circumstances, the petitioner is before this Court by way of the present petition. 4. Per contra, learned AGA for the respondents submits that if reasonable time is given, they would consider and pass necessary order on the said representations. 5. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances and rival submissions, the concerned respondent is hereby directed to address the grievances of the petitioner and consider his representations dated 13.12.2006 and 11.04.2008 at Annexures-C and E respectively and pass appropriate order / take appropriate decision in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.
