Mr. Tajhar Qayyum, learned counsel for the petitioner. 2. Ms. Mamta Bisht, learned Deputy Advocate General for the State of Uttarakhand. 3. According to petitioner, he moved an application for regularisation of his unauthorised occupation over Government land; such application was moved on 07.02.2020 pursuant to Government Order dated 19.02.2018, however, no decision is being taken on the said application. 4. Learned State Counsel submits that the Scheme introduced by aforesaid Government Order was valid only till 18.02.2019 and thereafter the Scheme has become ineffective. Learned State Counsel further submits that petitioner applied for regularisation of unauthorised occupation only on 07.02.2020, therefore, petitioner is not entitled to get benefit of aforesaid Government Order. 5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that since the matter is pending before Secretary, Revenue, therefore, concerned Secretary be directed to take decision on that representation. 6. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of with a request to Secretary, Revenue to consider petitioner’s application and pass necessary order, 2026:UHC:4575 one way or the other, as per law, within one year from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
