Also heard Mr. P. Borthakur, the learned Addl. Public Prosecutor, Assam. Page No.# 2/2 2. This is an application under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 in respect of Special NDPS Case No.71 of 2025 (arising out of Nilambazar P.S. Case No.89/2025) pending in the court of learned Special Judge, Sribhumi, Assam. 3. The petitioner Abdulla Al Mahmud Choudhury @ Bablu has been shown as an absconder in the charge sheet. He apprehends that if he appears before the trial court, he will be remanded to custody. 4. Now, the petitioner is willing to appear and contest the case before the trial. Therefore, he prays that he should be given one opportunity to that effect. 5. Mr. Borthakur has prayed for calling for the trial court record. 6. Since, it is a case of commercial quantity of narcotic drugs, and since the petitioner is interested in facing the trial, he deserves to be given adequate opportunity to contest the case. 7. Therefore, his application for bail is allowed. The petitioner Abdulla Al Mahmud Choudhury @ Bablu who is appending arrest in Special NDPS Case No.71 of 2025 (arising out of Nilambazar P.S. Case No.89/2025) pending in the court of learned Special Judge, Sribhumi, Assam, is directed to appear before the court of learned Special Judge, Sribhumi within next 10(ten) days from today. 8. On his appearance, the petitioner Abdulla Al Mahmud Choudhury @ Bablu shall be released on bail of ₹50,000/- with a surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the said court i.e. learned Special Judge, Sribhumi.
