This petition has been preferred by petitioner under Article 226 of the RUKHSAR BANO Digitally signed by RUKHSAR BANO Date: 2026.04.16 10:31:05 +0530 2 Constitution of India seeking following reliefs:- “10.1 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to release the pending Bardana amount and commission amount/margin money to the petitioner within stipulated period. 10.2 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent No.3 to consider and decide the pending representation filed by the petitioner dated 22.01.2026 Annexure P/4 within stipulated period. 10.3 Any other relief or reliefs may also be granted to the petitioner which this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.” 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner-Society has deposited a total of 4,675 Bardana from time to time; however, the amount towards Bardana has not been paid to the petitioner-Society by respondent No.3 till date. He further submits that the petitioner-Society operates a fair price shop, but the commission amount of Rs.55,038/- has also not been paid. A representation (Annexure P-4) was submitted by the petitioner on 22.01.2026 before respondent No.3, but the same has not yet been decided. Hence, learned counsel submits that, at this stage, this writ petition may be disposed of with a direction to Respondent No.3 / the Food Officer, Office of Collector (Food Branch), Ambikapur to decide the representation dated 22.01.2026 (Annexure - P/4) within a stipulated period. 4. Learned counsel for the State-Respondents has no objection to the prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner. 5. Having considered the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner, and without entering into the merits of the case, the present 3 petition is disposed of at this stage directing Respondent No.3 / the Food Officer, Office of Collector (Food Branch), Ambikapur to decide the representation dated 22.01.2026 (Annexure-P/4) filed by the petitioner as early as possible, preferably within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt/submission of a copy of this order, if the same has not already been decided. 6. With aforesaid observation and direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. 7. Pending interlocutory application(s), if any, also stands disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
