It is submitted by counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is the owner of the land bearing Khasra No.980/1 area 0.18 acre situated at village Chandrapur, Tehsil Chandrapur, District Sakti (C.G.). After the construction of Kalma Bairaj, the portion of the agricultural land of the petitioner in all the cases have come under submergence area of the Bairaj. Acquisition proceedings with respect to the land under submergence have not been drawn, with respect to the land of the petitioner. Therefore, it is prayed that a specific direction be issued to the respondent Authorities to initiate the acquisition proceedings and grant compensation to the petitioner. 3. Learned State counsel submits that the petition may be disposed of with appropriate direction. 4. After considering on the submissions and perusing the documents filed alongwith the petition, this petition is disposed of at motion stage granting liberty to the petitioner to file fresh representation before the respondent Authorities within a period of 15 days starting from today. After filing of such representation by the petitioner, the respondent Authorities are directed to verify the claims made by the petitioner, to initiate acquisition proceeding, if necessary, and also determine the compensation in favour of the petitioner in case the land of the petitioner comes under the submergence area of the Kalma Bairaj, by the respondent Authorities within a period of 90 days. 5.
