ORDER:
The present Writ Petition came to be filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:-
“… to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or Direction more particularly one in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS declaring the action of the Respondents in not regularizing the services of the Petitioners despite recommendation of Respondent No.4 herein to the 3rd Respondent herein vide Proceedings No.APMVV/ESTT/NT/E/2012, dated 10.07.2017 illegal, arbitrary, violative of Article 14, 16 and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the Respondents to regularize the petitioners services, counting their entire service for the purpose of retirement benefits and direct the Respondents to pay the arrears of salary together with interest @ 12% per annum, grant costs of the proceedings….”
2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Assistant Government Pleaders for Higher Education and Finance & Planning. 3. Today, when the matter came up for hearing, Mr.Ramesh Babu, learned counsel representing the learned counsel for the petitioners, brought to the notice of this Court that, pending the writ petition, the respondents rejected the case of the petitioners on the ground that regularization of their services is not feasible. Challenging the said proceedings, the petitioners have already filed W.P.No.5344 of 2026, which is pending for consideration before this Court. 4. Recording the above submission, the Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs. 4 VS,J W.P.No.28680 of 2018
