Also heard Mr. K. Baishya, learned Addl. P.P., Assam for the State respondent. This is an application under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023 praying for grant of pre- Page No.# 2/2 arrest bail to the accused/petitioner, namely, Md. Amanul Majit @ Amanul Mojit, who is apprehending arrest in connection with the North Lakhimpur P.S. Case No. 404/2025, registered under Section 69 of the BNS, 2023. During the deliberation of the matter, Mr. Baishya, the learned Addl. P.P., Assam on instruction, submitted that police after completion of investigation North Lakhimpur P.S. Case No. 404/2025, vide Charge Sheet No. 18/2026, dated 23.01.2026. Mr. Ahmed, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted in this regard that after obtaining the interim pre-arrest bail, the petitioner has appeared before the I.O. and his statement has been recorded by the I.O. Considering the submissions made by both sides, the petitioner is directed to approach the learned Trial Court below for his regular bail in said North Lakhimpur P.S. Case No. 404/2025. The interim bail, granted to the present petitioner may be extended for another fifteen (15) days, enabling him to appear before the learned Trial Court below, with a regular bail application. Accordingly, this bail application stands disposed of. Copy of the instruction received from the I.O. and placed before the Court by the learned Addl. P.P., Assam, be kept as part of the record.
