$~86 * IN THE HIGH COURT OF DELHI AT NEW DELHI + BAIL APPLN. 1153/2026&CRL.M.A. 8671/2026 SUNNY@ RAKESH .....Petitioner Through: Ms. Shannu with Mr. Tomar, Advocates. versus STATE OF NCT OF DELHI .....Respondent Through: Ms. Priyanka Dalal, APP with SI Jug. CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE MANOJ JAIN O R D E R % 20.03.2026 1. Applicant seeks interim bail claiming that his wife is unwell and she has to undergo some surgery. 2. Such request was turned down by the learned Trial Court, primarily, considering the fact that on one earlier occasion, when he was enlarged on interim bail, he jumped the same and was, eventually, declared a proclaimed offender, which resulted in delay in the ongoing trial. 3. After hearing arguments for some time, learned counsel for applicant, without prejudice to her rights and contentions, does not press the present application. She, however, seeks indulgence to the limited effect that if surgery of wife of accused is scheduled for any particular date, he may be permitted to move appropriate application before the learned Court of Sessions seeking his release on ‘custody parole’. 4. Application stands disposed of as not pressed. 5. Liberty, as prayed, is granted. MANOJ JAIN, J MARCH 20, 2026/sw/js This is a digitally signed order.
