The present application has been filed with a prayer for allowing the applicant, who is the returned candidate and respondent no. 1 in the connected Election Petition No. 2 of 2022 to produce and allow the examination of other witnesses prior to his examination as a defense witness. I have considered the grounds given by the applicant in the present application for making such a prayer. Mr. L. Karnajit, learned counsel appearing for the Election Petitioner fairly submitted that he has no objection in allowing the present application.
