KARTIK SHARMA AND OTHERS Versus STATE OF HP AND ANOTHER CRMMO-291 of 2026 08.04.2026 Present: Mr. M.A. Safee, Advocate, for the petitioners. Mr. Rajan Kahol & Mr. Vishal Panwar, Additional Advocates General with Mr. Ravi Chauhan & Mr. Anish Banshtu, Deputy Advocates General, for respondent No.1-State. By way of instant petition filed under Section 528 of Bhartiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, prayer has been made on behalf of the petitioner for quashing of FIR No.105 of 2024 dated 24.10.2024 under Sections 332 (c), 333, 115(2), 351(2) & 3(5) & Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, registered at Police Station Kandaghat, District Solan, H.P., as well as consequent proceedings, if any, pending adjudication before the court below on the basis of amicable settlement arrived inter se parties. Though with a view to substantiate the factum of compromise, petitioner has placed on record compromise deed (Annexure P-2), perusal whereof reveals that respondent No.2 has decided to resolve the matter inter se parties, but with a view to ascertain the correctness and genuineness of the compromise, this Court deems it necessary to call for a status report and secure presence of respondent No.2. Mr. Ravi Chauhan, learned Deputy Advocate General, appears and accepts service of notice on behalf of respondent No.1. He prays for and is granted two weeks’ time to file status report. Learned counsel for the petitioner undertakes to cause presence of respondent No.2 on the next date of hearing, enabling this Court to pass appropriate orders qua prayer made in the instant petition. Since petitioner has undertaken to cause presence of respondent No.2 in the Court, there is no necessity to issue notice to him. List on 24.04.2026. Learned Additional Advocate General is also directed to verify the aforesaid factum of compromise, if any. April 08, 2026 (Sandeep Sharma), (sunil) Judge
