(Oral) The contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging willful and deliberate non-compliance of order dated 12.03.2026 passed by this Court in the Writ Petition (MS) No.566 of 2026 Graphic Era Educational Society V/s Cantonment Board, as well as the interim order dated 29.04.2026 passed in WPMS No.1137 of 2026 Graphic Era Educational Society V/s Cantonment Board. 2. Learned senior counsel for respondent- contemnor submitted the response dated 05.06.2026 before this Court, which is taken on record. Office is directed to number the same as per Rules. 3. It is contended by learned senior counsel for respondent-contemnor that the order dated 29.04.2026 was sent by registered post to respondent-contemnor, which was received in the office of respondent-contemnor on 07.05.2026. But before that, on 05.05.2026, an order was passed and the District Magistrate, Dehradun was 2026:UHC:4516 2 requested to recover the amount due against the petitioner by way of arrears of land revenue. 4. It is further contended by him that the said order has been passed before the order dated 29.04.2026 reached to the office of respondent-contemnor, and therefore, she has submitted her unconditional apology before this Court in the affidavit filed in response. 5. It is also submitted by him that the order dated 05.05.2026 has since been withdrawn by the respondent- contemnor by writing the letter to the District Magistrate, Dehradun on 03.06.2026, which is annexed by the respondent-contemnor in the response affidavit. 6. In such view of the matter, unconditional apology tendered by the respondent-contemnor is accepted. Thus, nothing remains to be decided in the present contempt petition. 7.
