27.02.2026 Court No.35. D/L.18. Rakib CRM 7898 of 2015 In Re: An Application for Cancellation of Bail Under Section 439(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973. And In the matter of : The Central Bureau of Investigation ……Petitioner. Records of the case reflect that the present application for cancellation of bail appeared on 04.09.2015 when an accommodation was prayed for on behalf of the petitioner/CBI. On 20.12.2019 the application again appeared when none appeared on behalf of the CBI. The matter again appeared on 28.07.2021 when an accommodation was prayed on behalf of the CBI. The application was affirmed and filed in the year 2015, more than 10 years have passed. Neither the petitioner apprises this Court in respect of present stage of the proceedings. Prima facie I find that the application till date has not been admitted and there was no direction of service. The subject matter of bail which is challenged dates back to 18.09.2015. Having considered the same, I am of the view that by efflux of time the application has lost its force. Accordingly, CRM 7898 of 2015 is dismissed.
