05/17.04.2026 Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned counsel appearing for the State.
2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Rikhiya P.S. Case No.189/2025, registered for the offence under Section 303(2) of the BNS, pending in the Court of the learned J.M.F.C., Deoghar.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the name of the petitioner has come on confessional statement and it has been alleged that the stolen motorcycle has been recovered in front of the house of the petitioner. On these grounds, he submits that anticipatory bail may kindly be granted to the petitioner.

Learned counsel appearing for the State opposed the prayer and submits that the petitioner is also wanted in another identical nature of case.

Considering that stolen motorcycle has been recovered in front of the house of the petitioner and it has been pointed out that the petitioner is having another criminal antecedent of same nature and in the attending facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner and, as such, his prayer for anticipatory bail is, hereby, rejected.
6. Accordingly, this application is dismissed.
