The petitioner has filed the present petition with the following prayer:- “That this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to quash the FIR No. 58/2020 dated 09.03.2020 registered at Police Station Parpa, District Bastar (C.G.) for the offence committed u/s 304 of Indian Penal Code and the further proceeding in S.T. No. 24/2020 (State Vs. Pranjal Kodopi) registered against the petitioner, in the interest of justice.” 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that his client is not responding. It has been informed that, during the course of the trial, the petitioner is stated to have absconded, and a permanent warrant has been issued against him under Section 299 of the CrPC. The trial has been consigned to record room with the said observation. Hence, he is not pressing the petition. 4.
