Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the subject-matter of the case is 1500 bottles of phensedyl. Learned advocate also submits that some more time is required to complete the prosecution witnesses. Having considered the stage of the case, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. 2 Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is Rejected. However, the learned trial court would expedite the process so that the same is taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time. No comments are being made so far as the merits of the case is concerned which would be the subject-matter of final adjudication of the case, the trial court would consider the same independently. Accordingly, CRM(NDPS) 361 of 2026 is dismissed. Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.
