JUSTICE SANDEEP KUMAR ORAL ORDER 2 01-04-2026 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State. 2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection Mednichowki P.S. Case No. 70/2025 dated 18.05.2025 for the offences punishable under Sections 140(1), 140(2) and 61(2) of the B.N.S. 3. As per the prosecution case, the informant’s husband was taken towards diara and a ransom of Rs. 5 lakhs was demanded on the phone by the criminals. He was also brutally assaulted by them. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. He is in custody since 23.08.2025 and has six criminal antecedents.
