Dubey, AC to AG …...... 02 /17.04.2026: In this writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs: “For issuance of an appropriate writ(s), order(s), Direction(s), or a writ in the nature of Mandamus, directing and commanding upon the respondents for a direction to release the share of the awarded amount of rupees 3022949.43, 9729032.66, 43085716.05, 23870876.55 & 1028497.14 total rupees 8,07,37,071.83 (Eight Crore, Seven Lakhs, Thirty Seven Thousand, Seventy One & Eighty-three Paise only) respectively in L.A. Case No. 2/20-21 to the petitioner, in proposant shear as per family relationship as the petitioner being the legal heir and daughter of Tetar Das but due to connivance of Private Respondent No. 6 to 8 and authority concerned the awarded amount has not been extended/release to the petitioner in view of family chart issued by the concerned authority on 14.10.2025 and as the landed ancestor property of the petitioner and their co-sharer have been acquired for construction of port in the District of Sahibganj.” 2026:JHHC:10967 2 2. It is the grievance of the petitioner that the land of the petitioner has been acquired and an Award has also been prepared and compensation has also been fixed but the petitioner has not been paid the said compensation. 3. Considering the grievance of the petitioner, I direct the petitioner to approach the Deputy Commissioner, Sahibganj within four weeks from today. 4. If it is found that the land of the petitioner has been acquired and the petitioner is entitled for compensation, the compensation should be released in favour of the petitioner without any delay preferably within the period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order after completing all the paraphernalia. 5. If the claim of the petitioner is rejected for any reasons whatsoever the reasons should be communicated to the petitioner within a period of four weeks thereafter. 6.
