1. Mr. Mahajan, learned standing counsel appears for the DDA and is
directed to comply with the order dated 05.01.2026 including restoration of the park with proper entry and exit points, for the welfare of the people living around it.
2. The DDA shall do the needful expeditiously and in any case not later than 4 weeks from today. Municipal Corporation of Delhi is directed to provide assistance to DDA in all possible ways.
3. The Residents Welfare Association (“RWA”) shall ensure that once the park is restored and grass and trees are planted, the same is maintained. The RWA shall further ensure that after restoration the park is not encroached upon again and in case the same is so done, the petitioner shall This is a digitally signed order. be at liberty to revive the petition. The SHO shall also provide assistance to ensure that no further encroachment is made upon the park.
