Petitioners have filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs; “10.1 That, the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to call for records pertaining to CFSL/NCRB report/ domicile verification report of the petitioners to the Respondent Authority specifically Respondent no. 2 & 3, in the interest of justice. 10.2 That, the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue a writ, order or direction directing the respondents to complete the dossier/domicile verification of the petitioners within a stipulated time period; 3 / 4 10.3 That, the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to further direct the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for appointment, if found suitable, without insisting upon again medical examination; 10.4 That, the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to Grant any other relief which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case. 10.5. That any other relief which this Hon'ble court may deem fit and just in the facts and circumstances of the case.” 2. Counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioners have submitted application forms pursuant to the advertisement issued for NCB Examination, 2025 for the post of Constable GD in CAPFs, SSF and Riflemen in Assam Rifles. After submission of the application forms petitioners have cleared written examination, physical efficiency test and medical examination and were declared successful. Final result of which was declared on 15.01.2026. Name of the petitioners have been shown in the withheld list whereas, petitioners have been successfully qualified all the tests. It is contention of counsel for the petitioners that petitioners being placed in the with held list Dossier/ Domicile Verification is still pending and therefore, direction be issued to the respondents to complete the said proceedings, at the earliest. 3. Counsel for the respondents would submit that all the documents enclosed along with the writ petition in particular Page No. 47 Annexure-P/5 which is the intimation given to the petitioners online under RTI would show that the verification of the identification/genuineness of all withheld candidates of CT/GD Examination 2025 are under process and will be completed within the time as prescribed therein. 4 / 4 4. On due consideration of submission of counsel for the parties, nature of grievance raised, further the information supplied by the respondents to the petitioner vide Annexure-P/5 and also considering that the information was given on 10.02.2026 and according to the petitioners, the proceedings adopted by the respondents is still pending consideration, the writ petition at this stage is disposed of directing the the respondents authorities to conclude the process of identification/genuineness of all withheld petitioners and complete Dossier/Domicile verification, in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within a further period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the Order. It is for the counsel for the respondents to intimate the respondent authorities about the order passed by this Court. 5.
