Shri Ali, learned counsel for the applicant submits that in pursuant to the order dated 06.08.2026, wherein applicant has undertaken to deposit an amount of Rs.2,00,000/- in this Court. A demand draft of only Rs.1,00,000/- is prepared due to financial crunch, and the applicant was unable to deposit the demand draft of Rs.2,00,000/-. He further prays for four weeks time in respect of remaining Rs.1,00,000/- amount. He further submits that amount of Rs.1,45,000/- was already deposited before the Appellate Court while the appeal was pending. He therefore prays for extension of time to comply the order dated 06.08.2026. He further states that application for extension of time was sought to be filed, however, due to some technical issue the office could not register the filing of the application. SKNair

The said application seeks permission to deposit a demand draft of Rs.1,00,000/ and further prays for extension of one month time to the applicant to deposit remaining balance amount of Rs.1,00,000/-. 2. Taking into consideration the bonafides shown by the applicant in depositing of Rs.1,45,000/- before the Appellate Court and the Demand Draft of Rs.1,00,000/- being presented today, the application is allowed. Application be registered with the registry of this Court. 3. The Registry is directed to accept the demand draft of Rs.1,00,000/- if deposited by the applicant. The time is extended with a further period of one month, to deposit the remaining balance amount of Rs.1,00,000/- as undertaken to be deposited and recorded by this Court in its order dated 06.08.2026. Failure on the part of the applicant to deposit remaining balance amount of Rs.1,00,000/- within the aforesaid extended period of one month, shall result in the appropriate action being taken against the applicant including the action under Contempts of Court Act. 4.
