To kindly call for the records of the case from the respondents. ii. To kindly quash the impugned suspension order dated 18/09/2024 passed by the Joint Director, Education Division, Bilaspur (C.G.) (Annexure P/1). iii. To kindly quash the departmental charge-sheet dated 18/10/2024 (Annexure P/2) issued by the Respondent no.3. iv. To kindly direct the respondents to grant full salary of suspension period i.e. from 18/09/2024 to the petitioner with 18% penal interest. v. To kindly make any other order that may be deemed fit and just in the facts and circumstances of the case including awarding of the costs to the petitioner. 2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that he is not pressing this petition on merits. However, he has a limited prayer that he has already submitted a representation seeking revocation of the order of suspension on the ground that the petitioner has been under suspension for more than 17 months since 18.09.2024. He contends that although a charge memo has been issued, the departmental enquiry has not yet commenced. Therefore, a direction may be issued to respondent No. 3 to consider and decide the representation submitted by the petitioner at the earliest. 3. Learned State counsel submits that in view of the limited prayer made by the petitioner, he has no objection. He, however, submits that the representation dated 12.03.2026 pertains only to the grievance regarding prolonged suspension. 4. Heard learned counsel for the parties. 5. Considering the nature of the grievance, particularly that the petitioner was suspended on 18.09.2024 and continues to remain under suspension, and further considering the submission that the departmental enquiry has not yet commenced, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 3 to -3- consider and decide the representation dated 12.03.2026 in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.
