Respondents PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of certiorarified mandamus to call for the entire records relating to the impugned order dated 17.09.2025 passed by the 1st respondent and quash the same, and consequential direction directing the respondents 1 to 3 herein to remove the encroachment made by the 4th respondent in water canal (Vaaikkal), comprised in S.No.653 of Oruvanthur Village, Mohanur Taluk, Namakkal District, by considering the petitioner’s representation dated 15.05.2025 by invoking the Land Encroachment Act,1905 within a time frame as may be fixed by this court. Removal of encroachment on water canal should be undertaken on priority basis by the authorities concerned. We direct the respondent authorities to ensure completion of all proceedings within a reasonable period, in any case within three months, and any encroachment found should be removed.
