It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the respondent authorities have unlawfully and illegally caused damage to the land of the petitioner. On behalf of respondent-WBSEDCL, it is submitted that they have no objection if the representation be considered and disposed of. It is also submitted on behalf of WBSEDCL that there is no merit in the allegations of the petitioner and the same ought to be rejected. In view of the above, WPA 15418 of 2025 stands disposed of by directing the Appropriate Authority to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 21st May, 2025 within a period of eight weeks from the date 2 of passing of this order and if necessary, after giving a right of hearing to the petitioner. It is clarified that there has been no adjudication on the merits of the case and all questions are left open to be decided by the appropriate authority strictly in accordance with law.
