Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the respondents. 2. The petitioner has applied for electricity connection. However, the application of the petitioner for electricity connection has been rejected by respondent no.2 without giving any notice to the petitioner. 3. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that no useful purpose would be served in keeping the writ petition pending and appropriate direction may be issued to the respondent no.2. 4. In view of the aforesaid fact, without going into the merits of the case, we dispose off the writ petition permitting the petitioner to file a detailed representation before the respondent no.2-Executive Engineer, EUDD- Karelabagh, PuVVNL, Allahabad against rejection of the application of the petitioner for grant of electricity connection along with a certified copy of this order within a period of two weeks from today. In case any such representation is filed by the petitioner, the respondent no.2 shall consider and decide the same strictly in accordance with law within a period of one month thereafter after giving due notice and opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.
