Ms. Nancy Singh, learned counsel holding brief of Mr. Shashi Kant Shandilya, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Ghanshyam Joshi, learned Additional CSC for the State. 2. By the instant writ petition, the petitioner is praying for the following reliefs:- “A) Issue a direction to the Learned Court of Add. District Magistrate (Administration), Haridwar to decide the Case No. 05 of 2017, State Vs. I.O.C Bahadrabad etc, under Section 6A of the Essential Commodities Act, Police Station- Bahadrabad, District Haridwar expeditiously within specific time period. B) Issue such other relief or reliefs as this Hon'ble Court deems just and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case, may also be granted.” 3. The petitioner is seeking expeditious disposal of the Case No.5 of 2017 pending before the Additional District Magistrate, (Administration), Haridwar. 4. The prayer as sought in the writ petition appears to be innocuous. 5. In such view of the matter, the writ petition is disposed of finally with the direction to the learned Additional District Magistrate, (Administration), Haridwar to expedite the proceedings of Case No.5 of 2017 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from the date of production of the certified copy of this order.
