Heard the parties.
The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Complain Case No. 1212 of 2025, registered for the offences punishable under Section 9, 44, 49 (B), 50, 51 and 52 of Wild Life Protection Act.
It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner is involved in illegal trading of Pangolin Scales. It is further submitted that the allegations against the petitioner are all false. It is next submitted that petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as has been mentioned in paragraph no. 17 of this bail application. It is also submitted that the petitioner has been in custody since 22.12.2025 as has been mentioned in paragraph no. 1 of the bail application. It is next submitted that the petitioner undertakes to cooperate with the trial of the case. Hence it is submitted that the petitioner be released on bail.
Learned Spl. P.P. opposes the prayer for bail.
Considering the facts of this case, the above-named petitioner is
directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Gumla, with the condition that he will co-operate with the trial of the case and will furnish his mobile number and photocopy of the Aadhar Card in the
court below with an undertaking that he will not change his mobile number during the trial of the case.
