And/or pass any such other order/orders, direction/ directions as this Hon'ble Court may think fit and proper for the ends of justice; And for this act of kindness, the petitioner shall as in duty bound ever pray.” 4. It is contended that without following due procedure of law since power supply has been disconnected, Petitioner is eligible to get compensation and so also immediate reconnection. 5. On instruction Mr. L.K. Maharana, learned counsel appearing for the Opp. Parties contended that power supply has been restored on 15.04.2026. It is accordingly contended that since power supply has been restored, prayer made in the writ petition has become infructuous. 6. Learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner on the other hand contended that since power supply was disconnected without following due procedure of law and Petitioner remained in dark for the period involved for such illegal action of the Opp. Parties, Petitioner is eligible and entitled to get the compensation. 7. Having heard learned counsel appearing for the Parties, considering the submission made and since power supply has been restored to the Petitioner’s premises on 15.04.2026, this Court while disposing the writ petition, permits the Petitioner to make an appropriate application seeking compensation before Opp. Party No. 2, if as Page 3 of 3. contended power supply was disconnected without following due procedure of law. 7.1. It is observed that, if any such application will be moved before Opp. Party No. 2 within a period of three (3) weeks hence, the said Opp. Party shall do well to take a lawful decision on the same within a further period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of such application. 8. The writ petition accordingly stands disposed of. (BIRAJA PRASANNA SATAPATHY) Judge Sneha
