Mr. B.P.S.Mer, learned Standing Counsel for the State. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- JUDGMENT: (per Manoj Kumar Gupta, C.J.) 1. The petitioner is presently posted as a doctor in the Orthopedic Department in the Primary Health Centre, Ganaie (Gangolihat). He has been transferred to the Sub-District Hospital, Kotdwar, District Pauri Garhwal by order of respondent no. 1 dated 17.03.2026. According to the petitioner, respondent no.2 had proposed his transfer to District Hospital, Pauri, where his wife is also working as ENT Surgeon. The petitioner is stated to have made representation to respondent no.1 to re-consider his transfer as per proposal dated 30.01.2026 made by respondent no.2. The present writ petition has been filed praying for a writ of mandamus commanding respondent no.1 to 1 2026:UHC:4459-DB decide the said representation. 2. Learned Standing Counsel does not oppose the said prayer. He states that it has to be examined whether both, petitioner and his wife, could be accommodated at District Hospital, Pauri. 3. Having regard to the submissions made, the writ petition is disposed of with direction to respondent no.1 to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 31.03.2025 within a period of three weeks from the date of communication of the instant order along with photocopy of the said representation. 4.
