Petitioner’s case is that his father Sh. Bhawani Dutt was serving in the respondent-Corporation as Driver. He died in harness on 08.07.2011. After the death of his father, petitioner applied in January 2012 for employment assistance to the respondent-Corporation. Despite his repeated representations including dated 21.10.2015, 11.04.2016, 22.08.2019, 29.02.2020 and 30.11.2021, 1 Whether reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment? yes - 2 - respondent took no call on the same. Petitioner lastly represented on 12.11.2023 (Annexure P-5), seeking employment on compassionate grounds in place of his late father. Even the last representation has not been responded by the respondent-Corporation. 3. Taking note of petitioner’s grievances, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent No.1- Corporation to decide the case of the petitioner seeking employment assistance on compassionate grounds, within four weeks, in accordance with law.
