For convenience of this Court, WP (S) No. 2722 of 2024 is taken as lead case, in which following reliefs have been sought:-:- “10.1 That the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to set-aside/quash the order dated 18.04.2023 passed by the respondent authorities (Annexure P/1), in the interest of justice. 10.2 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authority to recalculate (as the Annexure P/13 is being calculated by the concerned authority) and to give the remaining payment on the basis of on maximum side i.e. 2,24,100/- minus pension of the present petitioner and to give the revised rate of allowances as per the Rule 3 of the Rule, 2020 and as are earlier is being given to the present petitioner from the date of joining to 14.03.2023, in the interest of justice. 10.3 That, any other relief which this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case be also granted. ” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submit that in view of the decision of the Hon’ble Supreme Court dated 19.05.2025 in Writ Petition (S) (Civil) Nos. 1144/2021, he may be permitted to withdraw this writ petition at this 3 stage with liberty to submit fresh representation before the respondent authorities. 3. On the other hand, learned counsel for the Respondents/State do not oppose the submission made by the counsel for petitioners. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents placed on record. 5. On due consideration of the submission of counsel for the respective parties, facts and circumstances of the case, nature of grievance raised by the petitioner, this writ petition at this stage is disposed of permitting the petitioners to submit afresh representation before the respondent authorities and in the event petitioners submit representation, the concerned authority shall consider and take decision on the representation to be submitted by the petitioner in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a period of 04 months from the date of receipt of order.
