Based on the exchange deed, dated 13.07.1977, the petitioner seeks rectification of the alleged mistake in the FMB sketch for the property morefully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of this writ peetition. He had given a representation on 23.01.2026 to the respondents 3 and 4 for the aforesaid purpose. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition. 3. Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. 4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner’s representation as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections, if any, from the neighbouring land owners as well as any other third party, whom the 3rd respondent deems it fit to enquire, Page No.2 of 4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.No.9755 of 2026 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner’s representation. 5. For the foregoing reasons, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the 3rd respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on the petitioner’s representation, dated 23.01.2026 seeking for rectification of the alleged mistake in the FMB sketch for the property morefully described in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition, after hearing the objections, if any, from the neighbouring land owners as well as any other third party, whom the 3rd respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
