No.7/8B measuring an extent of 0.26.50 ares acquired at Karasur Revenue Village in Award No.2/2008 to a sum of Rs.21,261/- per are, pursuant to the enhanced compensation award dated 01.12.2018 passed in LAOP No.110 of 2012 on the file of II Additional District Judge, Puducherry. Upon applying for enhanced compensation, enhanced compensation was awarded. On the ground that the said application has not been acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed. 2. Mr.V.Vasanthakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader (Puducherry), accepts notice for all the respondents. On the basis of written instructions, he submits that the application would be considered and disposed of by making disbursement of compensation in accordance with law. 3. In view of the above submissions, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the third respondent to consider the petitioners’ application under Section 28A of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 and take necessary measures in relation thereto within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
