The petitioner has filed this petition seeking the following relief(s): 10.1. Issue an appropriate writ in nature of Mandamus and direct the respondents, particularly the respondent No. 2 to decide the appeal preferred by the petitioner against his long suspension and consider his case for revocation of the same and for a consequential reinstatement in service within the time frame as deemed appropriate by this Hon’ble Court. 10.2 Grant any other relief, which is deemed fit in the circumstances of the case. -2- 2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that, against the order of suspension, the petitioner had submitted an application for revocation of the suspension before respondent No. 2 on 12.02.2026, which is still pending consideration. He further submits that a direction be issued to the concerned authority to decide the said representation at the earliest within a specified time frame. 3. Learned State counsel submits that he has no objection to the limited prayer made by the petitioner for deciding the representation. 4. On due consideration of the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 2 to take a decision on the representation submitted by the petitioner, in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.
