The allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner was running a Chit fund company and misappropriated Rs.10 crores from 150 victims. Hence the complaint. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is aged about 58 years and that he has been in incarceration since 25.11.2025. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready to abide by any stringent condition that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prays to grant bail to the petitioner. 4. The learned Public Prosecutor (Puducherry) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that total amount involved is Rs.10 crores and so for no amount has been recovered. Hence, he opposed to grant bail to the petitioner. 5. Hence, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 10-03-2026 MPA To 1.
