1. Ms. Nidhi Raman, CGSC has brought to the notice of the Court that remaining eight Indian seafarers have also been released on 27.02.2026. They have been kept in a hotel and on account of the ongoing tensions in Iran, the Iranian Airspace remains closed and transit within and out of Iran is risky. The Indian Embassy and Consulate are seized with the matter and they will take appropriate steps, once the situation is normalized.
2. In view of the aforesaid, nothing more remains to be adjudicated in the instant petition. Accordingly, the same stands disposed of.
3. Liberty is, however, granted to the petitioner to file a fresh petition, in case, within a reasonable period of time the grievance of the petitioners is not fully mitigated.
