Perused the case diary. Although there are case and counter case and some other co- accused were either granted bail or anticipatory bail, it appears from the statements of witnesses that the present petitioner was the principal assailant. Considering the above and the other materials available in the case diary including the injury reports of five victims, I do not consider this is to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected. (Jay Sengupta, J.)
