Choudhury, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Ms. U Sharma, learned Government Advocate; Ms. A Barthakur, learned counsel appears for the Finance and Ms. A Sarma, learned counsel appears on behalf of Mr. B Chakravarty, learned Standing Counsel, Accountant General. The petitioner is aggrieved by the impugned order of transfer dated 09.03.2026 whereby the petitioner was transferred from Transformation and Development Department, Dispur to the Office of the District Commissioner, Morigaon as Senior Development Officer (SDO) I/C. It is the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner that she is the only care giver who is 80 years of old mother who is under constant medical supervision and care. It is the submission of the petitioner that this transfer was effected because Kamrup Page No.# 3/3 (Metro) is her home district and in view of the Assembly Election, 2026 she was transferred out. However, now that the elections are over and results are declared, she is required to be transferred back to her original place of posting in view of the fact that her mother requires constant medical care and supervision as she is 80 years old. Her mother has also represented before the authorities and which have not been redressed and no response was forthcoming from the respondent authorities. Under such circumstances, the petitioner is before this Court. Ms. U Sharma, learned State counsel submits that she would like to complete her instructions in the matter as also the learned counsel appearing for the Finance and Accountant General. Considering the limited prayer of the petitioner, this Court considers it appropriate to close this writ petition giving liberty to the petitioner to file a detailed representation before the respondent No. 2 and whereupon the respondent No. 2 will consider the grievance and the claims made by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders thereon. Let this representation be filed within one week from today and the respondent No. 2 will dispose of the same within a further period of three weeks thereafter.
