PATIL) This contempt petition is filed alleging willful disobedience of the order dated 16.09.2022 passed by the learned Single Judge in W.P.No.13331/2022 (S-RES). 2. The respondent-accused filed an affidavit dated 11.04.2023 and 30.11.2024. Paragraph No.6 of the affidavit reads as under: "6. I respectfully submit that a sum of Rs.3,50,000/- (Three Lakhs Fifty Thousand only) compensation amount from the salary of the Mr. Lavakumar shall be deducted by the Respondent authorities herein within a period of 8 months as the total salary drawn by Mr. Lavakumar per month is Rs.53,000/- (Fifty Three thousand only) after tax deduction. Hence, the compensation amount of Rs.3,50,000/- (Three Lakhs Fifty Thousand only) to be deducted from the salary of Mr. Lavakumar as per the representation of the Complainant based on previous orders would require an outer limit of 8 months accordingly". - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:8683-DB C.C.C. No.73/2023 3. In view of the aforesaid affidavit, the authorities have deducted the amount, as ordered, from the salary of Mr.Lavakumar. In view of the same, we are of the view that there is no willful disobedience of the order and the order of the learned Single Judge has been complied. Hence, the contempt proceedings are dropped.
