On an earlier occasion i.e., on 11.03.2026, this Court passed the following direction: “4. The Registrar (Judicial) shall get a report from the learned Judicial Magistrate-II, Thiruvallur with regard to the stage of the case, the reasons for the prolonged delay and the likely date on which the case will be taken up for trial and completed and place the same before this Court on 23.03.2026.” 3.
