Appellant – writ petitioner had filed WP.No.22490 of 2025 being aggrieved of alleged inaction of respondents particularly respondent No.3 in providing police protection to appellant – writ petitioner and his family members from respondent Nos.4 to 16.
2. Learned Single Bench while considering the matter took note of civil litigation pending between parties, details of which are mentioned in the
order; it is thereafter noted as under:
“5. The above judgment is not helpful to the case of the Petitioner since the interim order passed therein, was on merits. At this juncture, learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that the petition may be disposed of by giving liberty to the Petitioner to seek the very same relief before the trial Court. Learned counsel

would further submit that their representation is pending before the Police.
5. In that view, the writ petition is disposed of without causing any prejudice to the rights and contentions of the petitioner. However, the petitioner is at liberty to recourse his remedy before the trial Court in case of violation of the order passed by the Court in OS.No.122 of 2024.”

Learned counsel for appellant, after arguing for some time seeks to withdraw this appeal with liberty to appellant to file appropriate application before learned trial Court for the relief as claimed in writ petition.
4. Writ Appeal is, accordingly, dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as aforementioned. No costs. Pending application(s) if any stand(s) disposed of accordingly.
